Job Title: Customer Advisor (Part-Time)

Location: Spar Grand Street, 23 Grand Street , Lisburn, Antrim, BT27 4UD‬

Job Type: Part Time (8 to 25 hour contracts available)

Main Purpose of Job: You will be at the forefront of our stores driving SPARkling customer service. You will be working closely with customers and other members of your team to maximise sales. It is your job to provide help and assistance to the customer to ensure they find everything they need whilst in the store, you will also be required to respond to customer enquiries and make appropriate recommendations. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate a till confidently and effectively using cash handling procedures
• Demonstrates an ability to maintain stock levels on the shop floor 
• Maintain stock room hygiene and housekeeping standards
• Demonstrates an awareness of forecourt operating procedures (if applicable)
• Has an understanding of customer service standards expected in store
• To assist customers with any queries
• Demonstrates a basic level of communication to external and internal customers
• Knowledge of the stores sales, promotions etc. 
• Demonstrates an awareness of their contribution to controlling costs
• Follow all companies policies and procedures
• Attends all training sessions

Please note that if there is a food service offer within the store then from time to time you may be asked to cover the food service offer;

• Food-to-go preparation
• Operation and cleaning of equipment 
• Demonstrates an ability to maintain stock levels in the deli counter
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features/allergens
